Youth Fest 2023 - Logo competition

Moira Youth needs a new logo! 

If you are a young person aged 12-25 who lives, works or studies in the Moira Shire, we want your help to create a new logo design for the Moira Youth Facebook and Instagram pages.

Entries close at 5pm on Saturday 30 September 2023.

First Prize: $150 voucher
Runner Up: $100 voucher
Special Categories: $50 voucher

Terms and Conditions of Entry

  1. Entry to the Moira Youth Logo Competition as part of the Youth Fest 2023 is free.
  2. Entry is open to Young People aged between 12 and 25 who live, study or work in the Moira Shire. Except Administrators and employees of the promoter, Moira Shire Council and their immediate families.
  3. The competition commences Tuesday 1st August 2023 and final entries close at 5 pm, Saturday 30th September 2023.
  4. To enter, participants must fill in the online entry form on Moira Shire Council’s website by providing their name, address and contact details then upload their Logo Entry.
  5. The winning entry may be edited or changed to increase resolution and/or suitability for display on the Moira Youth Facebook and Instagram pages.
  6. Entries not completed in accordance with the conditions of entry or received after close of entry will not be considered. Incomplete entries will be disregarded. The promotor reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process. The judge’s decision in relation to any aspect of the promotion is final and binding.
  7. Judging will be conducted by a panel from Moira Shire Council.
  8. Winners will be contacted by telephone using the contact details provided in their entry, which will then be confirmed by email.
  9. By entering this competition, you agree that you name and entry will be used on the Moira Youth Instagram and Moira Youth Facebook pages as the cover photo and profile picture. Your entry may also be reproduced in a range of online and print formats, including but not limited to printed publications, posters, brochures, televisions of print advertising, online publications and on Council’s internet or intranet, Facebook, Instagram and other media (including social media).
  10. You must not submit any personal information or copyright material of third parties without their informed consent. By submitting the material, you agree that the use of the material as detailed above does not breach any third party’s right to privacy and copyright.
  11. If the prize winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian on their behalf.
  12.  The prizes must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
  13. To the full extent permitted by law, the promotor will not be liable to you in any respect of any claim for any loss or damage whatsoever, (including, without limitation, any consequential, indirect, special, punitive or incidental damages) for any personal injury suffered by you as a result of or in connection with the promotion.
