Reliable mobile phone and internet connectivity has always been an issue for most parts of Moira Shire.

Multiple surveys, studies and roundtables have been undertaken in recent times to identify which areas in Moira Shire are adversely affected by the lack of connectivity.

We have another chance to voice our concerns and experiences to the telecommunication companies.

There are currently funding opportunities available in the Regional Connectivity Program Round 3 and Mobile Black Spot Program Round 7

We encourage you to leave a comment on the project noticeboard explaining your experiences on the lack of mobile phone and internet connectivity around Moira Shire. Be sure to include:

  • Your locality
  • Identify if you experience poor or no mobile phone connectivity
  • Identify if you experience poor or no internet connectivity
  • If you like, include examples on when you have been affected by the lack of internet and mobile phone connectivity
  • Anything else you think will help our advocacy
