Moira Shire Council is proud to support the Victorian Seniors Festival this October, celebrating the incredible contributions seniors make to our community.

This Year’s Theme: Connect, Create, Celebrate

The 2025 festival invites older Victorians to:

  • Connect – Re-engage with your interests, hobbies, and skills while meeting new people.

  • Create – Stay curious, try something new, and build practical skills.

  • Celebrate – Share experiences, enjoy local events, and strengthen social connections.

Throughout October, local Senior Citizens Clubs and community organisations are hosting a vibrant program of free and low cost activities and events.

Senior Citizens Clubs and activities

Across the Moira Shire there are a wide range of senior citizens clubs and programs offering a range of activities including carpet bowls, billiards, bingo, cards, a variety of day trips, meals and companionship. For more information please contact your local club.
