Friends of Groups are community led volunteer organisations that work in partnership with Moira Shire Council to support and promote our local facilities. These independent groups contribute their time and expertise to enhance our public spaces, ensuring they remain vibrant, well maintained hubs for the community.
Moira Shire Council has the following Friends of Groups:
Friends of the Katamatite Public Hall
Friends of the Lake Rowan Hall
Friends of the Numurkah Town Hall
Friends of the Picola Public Hall
Friends of the St James Public Hall
Friends of the Strathmerton Public Hall
Friends of the Wilby Memorial Hall
Friends of the Yarroweyah Memorial Hall
Friends of the Dan Cronin Recreation Reserve Public Hall
Friends of the Invergordon Recreation Reserve Community Hall
Friends of the Yalca North Recreation Reserve
Friends of the Burramine Hall
There are 11 Friends of Groups (FOG's) in place, to support Council with the ongoing operation of their respective community hall.
The fees and charges schedule was developed to have set fees that are consistent across all facilities. Fees are kept as low as possible to encourage the Community to utilise our facilities.
