Key age and stage visits
|
Maternal and Child Health Nurses review your child’s health and development at key age and stage appointments. As well as the growth and development of the child, the nurse discuss the parent health and wellbeing and any concerns the family may have. Nurses involve parents in this assessment by the use of the Parent Evaluation of Developmental Status (PEDS) screening tool.
The 10 key age and stage consultations are set out in your Child’s Health and Developmental Record and are important milestones in your child’s early years. For more information on these please visit the Victoria State Government Education and Training.
