Pre-schools

Children are eligible to attend preschool if they turn 3 years of age on or before 30 April in the year of attendance, for further information regarding your child's eligibility or readiness for preschool please speak with either your Maternal and Child Health nurse or the preschool teacher. There are nine community based preschools in the Moira Shire, they are either self-managed by parent committees or a part of the Goulburn Region Preschool Association Early Years Management Group.

In addition to these there are seven privately owned long day care facilities who run kindergarten programs.

All services are registered and licensed with the Department of Education and Training and are required to comply with the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011. All services are regulated under the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority through the National Quality Framework.
