Mr John Tanner AM was one of two commissioners who conducted the Commission of Inquiry into Moira Shire Council and has served as interim Administrator since March. Mr Tanner brings significant local government experience and a strong knowledge of the issues facing Moira Shire Council. He is a former member of the Victorian government’s Ministerial Panel Local Government Rating System Review, a former Ararat Commissioner and a former Brimbank administrator. He serves on the Moira Shire Council All Abilities Advisory Committee, the Murray River Group of Councils, the Goulburn Valley Regional Library Corporation Board, the Moira Shire Council CEO Employment and Remuneration Advisory Council, and the Moira Shire Council Audit and Risk Committee.
