Environmental Charge

The environmental charge is used to meet the significant and growing costs of providing a range of waste management services including maintenance of our landfill and transfer stations (this charge is separate to the garbage, recycling, glass and organic waste services). This is a fixed charge which all rateable properties incur regardless of the value of the property.  The environmental charge for the 2025/2026 financial year is $134.00
