Moira Shire Council original adopted its Governance Rules on 26 August 2020. The revised Governance Rules were adopted on 24 August 2022. The rules give guidance in relation to:
It is an offence not to comply with the conduct provisions of Council's Governance Rules. Councils Use of the Common Seal and Conduct of Council Meetings Local Law sets out the penalties that will to apply to offences relating to conduct.
The Local Law also regulates the use of the common seal and prohibits unauthorised use of the common seal.
