Why Frogs Count

Frog.png

Frog ID week  - Australia has over 240 known species of frog, almost all of which are found nowhere else in the world. Some species are flourishing, like the Striped Marsh Frog. But others have declined dramatically since the 1980's and four have become extinct. Happens annually around November and is Australia's biggest frog count. By taking part we can help provide our scientists with valuable data for the protection and conservation of frogs.
