The Numurkah Skate Park is a popular family-friendly venue for the local community and last year Council was contacted by a passionate user of the facility to establish a beginner’s area.
Mayor Libro Mustica said this new extension would meet the needs of the younger skate park users.
“Funds from the Federal Government’s $1 million Drought Funding have been earmarked to pay for this project and some proposed designs have been drawn up,” Cr Mustica said.
“We now need to hear from the community – let us know what you think.
“Go to our website, look at the plans and then fill in the simple survey.
“Alternatively, go to the skate park and view the signs on display, then use the QR Code on the sign to fill in the survey.”
Consultation closes Sunday 28 February 2021.
