Calling for feedback on Yarrawonga Showgrounds draft Masterplan

After extensive consultation with user groups and the community, Council has developed a draft Master Plan for the Yarrawonga Showground/Victoria Park precinct and we want to know what you think.  

Mayor Libro Mustica said the draft Master Plan would guide the precinct’s development, planning, budgeting and funding for the next ten years with independent consultants engaged for this project.  

“This plan looks at the whole site and has established what is valued about the present facilities and features and sets priorities for future upgrades,” Cr Mustica said.  

“In the development of this draft Master Plan we used a combination of information gained from survey responses, emails directly to the consultants, and a number of workshops with current user groups and stakeholders.”  

Cr Mustica said the responses to the initial community survey, as well as the thoughts and ideas garnered through the stakeholder and user group workshops were key to the development of the draft Master Plan. 

“Now we want to know if we heard you and incorporated your ideas and thoughts accurately into the draft Master Plan,” he said.
