Access arrangements at the intersection of Hogans Road and Linthorpe Drive are changing.

Previously priority at the intersection favoured traffic travelling north-south on Hogans Road from the southern leg to the northern leg towards the lake, requiring traffic on the Linthorpe Drive and Judd Road legs to give way.

Council will be changing priority at the Hogans Road and Linthorpe Drive intersection to give priority to the west leg (Linthorpe Drive)-south leg (Hogans Road) movement. This change is to improve traffic operations and road safety at the intersection by giving priority to the main traffic movement.

The changes at the intersection include:

  • Priority given to the west leg (Linthorpe Drive)-south leg (Hogans Road) travel movement
  • Extension of kerb and channel
  • Drainage improvements
  • Pavement widening
  • Construction of a threshold treatment on the northern leg
  • Signage and line marking

Works are scheduled to commence in the coming weeks for completion in June 2024.
