APPLICATIONS PERIOD HAS BEEN EXTENDED AND INDUCTION DAY HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED:

Applications are now open for Moira Shire Youth Council 2021/2022.

If you are aged between 16 - 22 and want to make a difference in your community, apply to be a Moira Shire Youth Council member.

Youth Council will start in August 2021, for a two year term. Regular meetings will be scheduled to suit the Youth Council once appointed.

The mandatory session for Youth Councillors to attend for 2021 are:

  • Induction Day on 1 August 12 September from 10am - 3pm in Cobram
  • Youth Advocacy training with YACVic on 30 September from 10am - 3pm (venue TBC)

Other sessions will include monthly meetings with the Youth Council, at a time and location that suits the Youth Councillors.

Youth Councillors will have the opportunity to raise issues affecting young people while making Moira an even better place to live for all young people.
