Current status

The Numurkah Flood Mitigation Implementation Committee, in conjunction with Council, has been working hard behind the scenes preparing and advancing plans for the Numurkah Flood Mitigation Project.

An automated upstream flood warning system has now been installed and detailed designs continue to be developed.

These designs will confirm the costs to build the levee system and will be the basis for applying for Victorian and Federal Government funding.
