Nominations open for Business Achievement Awards

Nominations are now open for the Moira Business Achievement Awards. 

Mayor Libro Mustica said the Achievement Awards recognise businesses that have developed innovative ways to continue to retain and attract customers, shown leadership, and provided goods and services to our community. 

"It is important to recognise those businesses in our region who have gone above and beyond to make a difference to their customers, their staff and the communities as a whole," Cr Mustica said. 

"There are eight categories to choose from - Retail; Tourism; Agriculture; Horticulture; Professional Services; Manufacturing; Best New Business; and Best Regional Business, from the Memorandum of Understanding group of councils - Berrigan, Federation, and Indigo. 

"Following the nomination period, finalists in each category will be announced and the community will be given the opportunity to vote. 

"The winners will be announced at a ceremony in July - go to our website and subscribe to the Moira Business Achievement Awards page to keep up to date with all the details. 

"And most importantly, start nominating!" 

Nominations will close 5pm Friday 17 June.
