Excitement builds for Business Excellence Awards

The 2019 GrainCorp Moira Shire Business Excellence Awards category winners and overall Business Champion have been selected from more than 35 shortlisted businesses and individuals.

"The envelopes are sealed and under lock and key until the awards gala event on Friday 29 March at the Cobram Civic Centre," Mayor Libro Mustica said.

"With such high calibre nominees it is impossible to predict who will take out each award – all will be revealed on the night and I encourage everyone to book their ticket and be a part of this exciting event."

Cr Mustica said the entries were judged by an independent panel and thanked everyone involved.

"I would like to thank those who nominated a business as well as those businesses for taking the time to answer questions and allow the judges to scrutinise their processes and procedures," he said.

"I am very much looking forward to the awards night.

"We have a wonderful guest speaker in Ashley Fell, a social researcher, TEDx speaker and Head of Communications at the internationally recognised McCrindle.

"As a trends analyst and media commentator, she understands how to communicate across generational barriers and diverse audiences.
