Feedback sought on draft Bundalong Structure Plan
Published on 10 March 2026
Community feedback is being sought on the draft Bundalong Structure Plan, a long-term strategic plan outlining how development in Bundalong will evolve over the next 20 years.
The structure plan provides guidance on land use, infrastructure, environmental management and transport networks to help achieve the township’s long-term vision.
The draft has been developed following an earlier stage of community engagement held in June and July 2025, where Council received 151 submissions. Community members highlighted Bundalong’s natural beauty, river setting, village atmosphere and community spirit, key themes now reflected in the draft plan.
Moira Shire Council Chair Administrator Dr Graeme Emonson PSM said the release of the draft marked a major step for the Bundalong community.
“Earlier consultation made it clear what people value most about Bundalong. We are now asking residents, landowners, and visitors to review the draft Structure Plan and tell us what matters most as we finalise the planning process,” Dr Emonson said.
The draft plan outlines objectives across housing, local economy and land use, landscape and environment, urban design and heritage, movement and transport, community facilities, and physical infrastructure.
Community members can review the draft Structure Plan and Background Report on Council’s engagement platform, request a printed copy or speak to Council staff at a community drop-in session.
