Magpies

The Council recognises the presence and behaviour of magpies, especially during their nesting season from August to November.

This flyer provides strategies to prevent swooping and manage interactions with magpies.

The Council collaborates with Wildlife Management to address extremely aggressive birds and ensures ongoing monitoring and protection for both residents and wildlife.
