Reduced Speed Limits - Yarrawonga and Wilby

Saturday 31 August 2024 - Handicapped Race will take place on the following roads with “reduced speed limits” throughout the duration of the event. Commencing approx. from 1pm and finished approx. 4pm.

• Woods Road from Dunlop Street to Cahills Road;
• Old Wilby Road from Cahills Road to Channel Road;
• Channel Road from Old Wilby Road to Whites Road;
• Whites Road from Channel Road to Carmichaels Road;
• Carmichaels Road from Whites Road to Boomahnoomoonah Road;
• Boomahnoomoonah Road from Carmichaels Road to Hammons Road;
• Hammons Road from Boomahnoomoonah Road to Yarrawonga-Wilby Road;
• Yarrawonga-Wilby Road from Hammons Road to Tungamah-Peechelba Road;
• Tungamah-Peechelba Rd from Yarrawonga-Wilby Rd to Boomahnoomoonah Road;
• Boomahnoomoonah Road from Tungamah-Peechelba Road to Carmichaels Road; and return back to the finish line on Channel Road, Yarrawonga.

Council has approved these reduced speed limits under Schedule 11, 10(1)(b) of the Local Government Act 1989.  Please seek alternative routes during these times as disruptions are expected.  All local residents and emergency services will have access to their properties throughout the duration of the event
