Council plays an important role in promoting and protecting the health and wellbeing of all members of the community and across all settings where we live, grow, learn, work, and age. To ensure Moira Shire continues to be a healthy and resilient community, Council has developed the draft Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2025-2029 in consultation with the community, and key groups, and organisations to develop a strategic landscape for future action.

In addition to Council Plan, this plan is guided by the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 and the Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2023-2027 to ensure our efforts to improve public health and wellbeing continue to align with the broader Victorian vision of Victorians as the ‘healthiest people in the world’.

Your feedback is crucial to ensuring this plan reflects what matters most to you and shapes a resilient future for Moira Shire.
