Disability Access and Inclusion Plan
Disability and Access Inclusion Plan
Our Disability and Access Inclusion Plan helps us identify, reduce and remove barriers experienced by people with a disability. It guides our ongoing investment in areas including:
- accessible car parking at key community service sites,
- improving pedestrian and cycling infrastructure to support use by people with impaired mobility,
- upgrading public toilets to be wheelchair accessible and
- active promotion of inclusiveness and participation of people with a disability, in activities, events and festivals held in Moira Shire.
The Victorian Disability Act 2006 requires all public sector bodies to have a Disability Action Plan.
