What is your connection to Moira?
I have lived in Moira all my life. I am a fourth generation farmer, and was raised just outside of Cobram’s township.
My wife and I have always enjoyed the lifestyle and opportunity Moira has to offer, and raised our four, now adult, children here.
What do you think is the greatest strength of the Moira Community?
I believe the greatest strength of the Moira Community are its people. We are a multicultural community, which makes Moira a vibrant place to live.
What made you decide to run for Council?
I want to see key projects being implemented across the Shire, particularly in smaller towns. I want the community to be able to raise any needs or concerns they feel is important to achieving a satisfactory outcome for the residents of the Moira community.
What do you hope to achieve in your term as a Moira Shire Councillor?
It would be a great reward to see projects being identified, and come in to fruition. I believe the Cobram East Flood Mitigation Levee, and, a Rural Land Strategy review are important projects and I look forward to being able to work through the challenges and rewards these two projects will have on our community.
What is your favourite thing to do in Moira?
Spending time by the river, and with family and friends. I also like helping fellow farmers
