Thank you to everyone for telling us their thoughts about the proposed extension to the Numurkah Skate Park to create a new beginners area.
Results Summary
71 liked the design – 83%
15 did not like the design. Of these:
- 8 respondent's comments related to design suggestions and/or extra things like seating and shade
- 7 respondents did not like the location
In relation to your suggestions please note:
- All design suggestions will be looked at by the successful firm who will be completing the detailed design and construction of the new area. Any changes to the detailed concept we showed you will be endorsed by the skate park committee prior to construction
- As our budget is limited we will use it all up on the skate park, however we will submit a project to provide shade and additional seating into the upcoming budget process. So it may not happen straight away but it is on the list!
- Fencing will be added either side of the raised pedestrian crossing to encourage everyone to use the crossing
