Community groups and organisations can make a request to make a presentation to Councillors at Council briefing sessions. Briefing sessions are informal meetings of Council where issues and topics are discussed prior to any decision-making.
For your presentation to be considered for a Council briefing session the topics must:
Demonstrate community benefit or meet an identified community need
To arrange to present to Council, groups are required to submit an expression of interest using the form below.
If your group or organisation is selected to present to Council, you will be contacted to arrange a date and time for the presentation. Presenters will be allocated 10 minutes for making their presentation and an further 10 minutes for question time.

Council is collecting the personal information in this form for administration of your request to present to councillors at a Council briefing session and/or directly related purpose. If you do not provide your information, Council may not be able to process and consider your request. Your information may be used to contact you about your request if required or provide you with a written response. Your information may also be available made available to the public through a future Council Meeting Agenda. Council may also disclose your information if required or authorised by legislation. Council briefing sessions are held every month generally on a Wednesday afternoon.
