Moira's Active April

For the whole month of April Moira Shire Council, in partnership with clubs, sporting groups and community organisations, is encouraging all residents to do 30 minutes of physical activity each day.

It’s free, it’s fun and it is part of our commitment to get more people active and healthy.

From ‘chair’ yoga, art and craft, and boot camp through to pickleball, badminton and nature walks, there is something for everyone and every ability or fitness level.

Yoga in the Park

Come and try yoga in the park for free. Available for all ages, beginners welcome.

Pickleball

Come and try Pickleball - a paddle sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong and is also fun, social and friendly. Open to all ages. All equipment provided. 

 Time and Date: Wednesday 7 April and Wednesday 14 April from 4pm - 6pm and Tuesday 20 April and 27 April from 12pm - 1pm.

Free boot camp in the park. Expect military style exercised. Not easy but the availability to go at your own pace makes it suitable for all fitness levels.

Jens Altheimer has worked alongside the Nathalia and district community to create Wunderkammer, a magical tinker space inhabited by kinetic sculptures: a chamber of wonders. Wunderkammer is an immersive, playful and multi-sensory experience of all ages.
