It is time to get festive!

Our businesses and communities have been impacted by two years of COVID-19 restrictions, both financially and emotionally, and we are wanting to help lift your spirits by holding competitions that families and workmates can enter, work on and, most importantly, have fun together.

There are four main categories with a $1,000 Why Leave Town (WLT) card for each winner, with the runner up of the Best Shop/Business Window Display receiving a $500 WLT card.

The categories are –

  • Best Sustainably Decorated Front Entrance – Urban
  • Best Sustainably Decorated Front Entrance – Rural
  • Best Sustainably Decorated Small Town Entrance

The criteria for evaluation will be –

  • Demonstration of the Christmas spirit

  • Sustainable use of materials

Judging will be conducted by our Moira Shire Councillors, with entries opening Monday 1 November and closing Friday 10 December.
