With over 5000 dairy farms, Victoria accounts for more than 65% of annual national milk produced in Australia and has a value estimated at $2+ billion for exports. It is the largest agricultural industry in Victoria providing employment on farms for around 16000 Victorians and another 11000 in milk processing facilities.
