Moira Shire Council uses an online e-Tendering portal to list and manage its tenders, quotations and expressions of interest.
e-Tendering lists Council's tenders and provides registered suppliers easier access to download tender documents and to submit tender responses.
TenderSearch: Moira's new e-Tendering Platform
Moira Shire Council uses the TenderSearch e-Tendering portal.
New tenderers need to register as a new supplier. Registration is free.
Log in to TenderSearch to view your tender's status.
Prior to a tender closing time, it is the tenderers responsibility to ensure their tender response uploads comply with their organisation's IT server and internet capacity/limitations.
Moira Shire Council takes no responsibility for delays experienced by tenderers due to
- their IT server limitations;
- partially uploaded tenders caused by late uploads; or
- their server/internet capacity inability to process large files quickly.
Hardcopy, faxed or late tender and quote submissions will not be received.
Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

Can I lodge my tender via email?
Tenders cannot be lodged via email, fax or hard copy. They must be lodged via TenderSearch in accordance with the conditions of tendering.
Do I need a supplier login to download tender documents?
Yes. You need to register as a new supplier.
Must I use the same login and password I used to download the documents to upload my tender?
Yes. If you don’t use the same login and password you will not be able to upload your tender.
What if I forget my password?
Login to TenderSearch and select 'Forgotten your password' and follow the prompts to complete the forgotten password process.
Do I have to answer all the questions in the tender document?
The questions in the tender form and schedules are designed to ensure the best provider for the contract. Your responses are used in the tender evaluation. Failure to complete the information can result in your tender being marked as non-conforming.
Can I lobby councillors regarding my tender?
Any tenderer who canvasses or contacts a councillor about a tender will have their tender disqualified.
Is there a limit to the number and size of files comprising my tender submission?
No. There is no limit to the amount of documents or size of your files.
Will a late tender be accepted?
No. TenderSearch locks on the tender closing time and you will not be able to upload a submission.
How long does it take to upload a tender?
The time it takes to upload a tender submission varies depending on your internet speed and the size of the documents. Always allow plenty of time to upload your tender submission documents.
