Proposed Reserve Naming - Katunga

Moira Shire Council is seeking to formally name the unnamed reserve between Numurkah Road and Katunga North Road, Katunga in accordance with the Naming rules for places in Victoria – Statutory requirements for naming roads, features and localities - 2016.

The reserve is to be formally named “Harrison Park” in memory of Mr Don Harrison who was a leading member of the Katunga community for many years. A map showing the location of this reserve is available at our Cobram and Yarrawonga Service Centres and the Numurkah Visitor Information Centre.

Any person wishing to make a suggestion on the proposal should do so in writing and be addressed to:

All suggestions received by 5pm Friday 12 May 2017 will be considered. Submissions which include an alternative name and must include background information about the alternative name.

Council will formally adopt the name “Harrison Park”, if during the community consultation process, no objections are received.
