Historic find in time for Anzac Day

A historic picture has been uncovered during the electrical repair works of the Yarrawonga Town Hall, just in time for Anzac Day.
Cr Peter Mansfield said it was vital the community take the opportunity to share their ideas on the future development of the Yarrawonga Town Hall Precinct and Yarrawonga Library by this Friday 27 April.

Nathalia street light renewal program

Blake Street in Nathalia is undergoing a street light renewal program.
Moira Shire Council has been awarded $2.7 million in funding from the Australian Government’s Regional Jobs and Investment Packages (RJIP) to fill two critical gaps that exist in the 5km Yarrawonga Tourism Trail from the current traffic bridge on the foreshore to the Silverwoods development.
Moira holds firm in recycle shakeup

Residents in Moira Shire can be reassured that despite the global recycling industry shakeup, Council remains committed to recycling and continues to need the support of residents to ensure the system remains viable.
Moira Shire Council has released its draft Waste Management and Services Strategy 2018-2027 for community feedback.
Enjoying locally grown and produced food, celebrating our local communities, is a highlight of the Sun Country Food and Wine Festival 2018 to be held from 16-25 March.
Maintenance work will start next week on Mulwala-Yarrawonga Bridge across Lake Mulwala.
Moira Shire confirmed today the Yarrawonga Town Hall, which includes its service centre, will close from 13 March 2018 to enable major electrical works throughout the building.
Applications are closing soon for Round 2 of the Community Strengthening Program - Minor Grants up to $5,000.
