Current Opportunities

We are currently seeking community feedback on the following issues, plans and strategies. In some cases the consultation needs to follow a statutory process which involves specific steps and requirements. To assist you, the process for providing your feedback is explained with each topic.

Future Directions paper -Major Town’s Strategy Plan Review (Yarrawonga, Cobram, Numurkah & Nathalia)

Closes Thursday 30 May 2018

The Major Towns Strategy will drive major growth areas, identify future road development, inform future Master Plans, sets the ground rules on how land owners will be able to use their land into the future.
Draft 2018-19 Budget and Strategic Resource Plan

Closes Thursday 24 May 2018

The 2018/19 budget details the projects, programs and services council will deliver in 2018-19 and how these will be funded through rates and other fees and charges and the SRP describes the broader funding priorities for the next four years.
Draft Rating and Services Charges Strategy

Closes Thursday 24 May 2018.

Have your say on how council proposes to

• share the funding of council services amongst categories of ratepayers such as residential, farm and commercial properties.

• calculate council fees and charges including those for municipal, environmental and kerbside waste collection
Yarrawonga Library and Town Hall Precinct Master Planning

Closes Friday 11 May 2018

We are seeking your feedback on how a new Yarrawonga Library could be incorporated into the Yarrawonga Town Hall precinct and what else you think should be included in this precinct site.

Previous opportunities

Recently we sought community feedback on the following issues, plans and strategies. We are required to make submissions received under a statutory (Section 223 process) available for public inspection for a period of twelve months (including names and addresses).

Feedback received under other consultation and feedback processes may be made available where possible in accordance with the requirements of the Victorian Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.
