Draft Landscape Plan Guide - Public Comment
Moira Shire Council is seeking community feedback on the Draft Landscape Plan Guide for landscapes in the agricultural floodplains (the Draft Landscape Plan Guide).
At the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 22 February 2017, Council resolved to release the Draft Landscape Plan Guide for public comment from Monday, 27 February 2017 to Monday, 3 April 2017.
The Draft Landscape Plan Guide has been prepared by Spiire Australia Pty Ltd as part of a collaborative project with with Campaspe Shire Council, Greater Shepparton City Council, Moira Shire Council and the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority. The Draft Landscape Plan Guide establishes common requirements for sustainable and appropriate landscape developments across the three municipalities. It will assist private developers and permit applicants in the preparation of informed and sustainable landscape plans.
Council is now inviting the public to inspect the Draft Landscape Plan Guide and make a formal submission. You may inspect the hard copy document, free of charge, during office hours, at the Moira Shire Council offices:

Numurkah Tourist Information Centre - 99 Melville Street Numurkah
Barmah Heritage Centre - 73 Blake Street Nathalia
Submissions must be made in writing, giving the submitter’s name and contact address, clearly stating the grounds on which the Draft Landscape Plan Guide is supported or opposed and indicating what changes (if any) the submitter wishes to make.
