L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program
The L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program is an initiative of VicRoads, funded by the TAC.
It supports young people in the community who may be at a disadvantage and unable to attain the 120 hours of supervised driving experience required to gain their probationary licence.
This community-based program provides young people who fit the selection criteria with a fully trained local volunteer mentor who assists the young participant with driving supervision in the L2P community car.
Shantel from Numurkah who gained her Probationary Licence in August 2016. Shantel has been mentored by Johnny Decker in and around Numurkah since October 2014 completing over 140 L2P drive hours. Fantastic effort by both Johnny and Shantel. She is also the 3rd sister from the family to be mentored though the program with Johnny.
