L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program

The L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program is an initiative of VicRoads, funded by the TAC.

It supports young people in the community who may be at a disadvantage and unable to attain the 120 hours of supervised driving experience required to gain their probationary licence.

This community-based program provides young people who fit the selection criteria with a fully trained local volunteer mentor who assists the young participant with driving supervision in the L2P community car.

L2P mentor training is conducted regularly at venues throughout the region. Holmesglen TAFE is the training facilitator. All training is free and catered.

The next local round of L2P training is listed for Echuca on Sunday 17 June 2012 and Sunday 24 June 2012.

Interested persons can put their names down for the training, which can be used as "the first port of call" for prospective mentors, who are under no obligation to continue in the program and wish to withdraw from it. Alternatively, they can fill in the below expression of interest form.
