Youth Services
Moira Shire has engaged the services of a Youth Worker to provide assistance to young people between the ages of 12 and 25 years to negotiate the health, education, employment and welfare system. The Youth Worker may assist with counselling, mentoring, goal setting, re-engagement with school and linking and referral to support services.
The Youth Worker can be contacted through your local Community Health Centre. This is a free and confidential service for young people who live within the Moira Shire.

Youth Development
Moira Shire conducts a number of FReeZA Youth Events each year throughout the Shire. These include local live music events, skate/BMX events and pool events.
If you are a young person between the ages of 12 and 25 years and would like to be involved the these events, or would like to join the FReeZA committee that organises events in your area, please contact the Moira Shire Council Youth Development Officer.
National Youth Week is an annual week-long celebration of young people held in April. Since 2009, Moira Shire has been part of the celebration, with a number of skate and live music events held across the shire. National Youth Week this year (2012) promises to be a big one, with skate demos and clinics from pros at the all new Cobram Skate Park.
