Other Granting Services
Moira Shire conduct information sessions in February / March each year for community groups to gain a better understanding of not only Councils granting programs but also external funding opportunities.
Information sessions are advertised in local papers in the lead up and attendance is encouraged by all community groups.
Moira Shire Council also maintains a community group database which is used to notify interested groups of granting opportunities offered by all tiers of government, the private sector and philanthropic trusts.
Remember the golden rule of grants.... Don't spend your groups hard earned money on a project before asking whether grant funds could support that project!
If your group is interested in being included on this database or have any questions relating to grant funding, please contact Councils Grants Administration Officer.
