Immunisation

Moira Shire Council provides immunisation sessions as a community service for families with young children.

Sessions are also provided for adolescents at secondary school venues.

Vaccinations are free under the National Immunisation Program for Australian residents and holders of protection visas.

Immunisation is a simple, safe and effective way of protecting children against diseases.

Immunisations protect children and adults against harmful infections before they come into contact with them in the community.

  • No appointments are required.
  • Please bring your child’s Health Book to immunisation sessions.

Immunisation Survey

Moira Shire is committed to providing a first-rate Immunisation service and seeks community feedback in an attempt to fulfil this obligation. The main objectives of the survey are to assess the performance of Immunisation sessions and to seek insight into ways to provide improved or more effective service delivery. Participation in the survey is voluntary and survey findings will be kept confidential.
