Community Leadership Program
The Moira Shire Community Leadership Program is designed to develop community leaders.
The program is free for Moira Shire residents and aimed at members of community groups who wish to increase the influence and effectiveness of their group. Modules in the program will assist participants to develop and refine their leadership skills.
During the program, participants will have the opportunity to learn from the experiences of other community leaders, within Moira Shire and across Victoria, and to identify opportunities for their community group. Participants will work on a project related to their community work and will present a report on the project at a graduation ceremony.
Investment from Participants
From February 2012 participants will be required to attend fortnighly sessions alternating between Monday evenings and Sunday daily sessions, and the graduation ceremony in June.
