Committees

Committees of Management have been developed across Moira Shire and have a primary role to manage facilities, such as:

• Recreation Reserves;
• Show Grounds; and
• Public Halls;

and various other assets such as Historical Precincts, which are utilised by the community.

All committees manage their facilities on behalf of:

• Moira Shire Council (Section 86 Committees of Management managing assets on either Council land or Crown land); or
• The Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE Committees of Management).
